From the article: Why does Ryanair Say it Flies to Barcelona When it Does Not?
Are you happy about Ryanair's response as to why they say they fly to Barcelona when they do not? Readers Respond
Disgraceful and wrong!
- We have been tricked by Ryanair. Never been to Barcelona before going with our daughter just finished GCSE'S as a treat. We want to be in Barcelona and find ourselves miles and miles away. We will now have to travel in at great expense and trouble and feel tricked and cheated. Tried to cancel minutes after we discovered the error - but not interested. Have never chosen Ryanair before and now never will again. It is just wrong and they should be held to account. Guest Carol

Girona and Barcelona
- I wonder whether Alex and Eddie work for Ryanair. The official name of the airport is Girona-Costa Brava, IATA code GRO. Costa Brava is a well known region, so it is not necessary to add (Barcelona) in brackets by Ryanair -- Eddie is not right. It is quite a ride to arrive to Barcelona. Girona itself is a capital of a district different from Barcelona, so Spanish authorities would neve associate the two. What Ryanair fans call as "Barcelona area" is the province of Catalunia.

Oversize Baggage!!!
- I was charged £35 for ‘oversize’ baggage at Gerona Airport at the departure gate before boarding. The decision was a wrong one and I have photos to prove it. Ryanair staff on my return at Stansted couldn’t understand why it had been failed – so am I. I had already used the bag at Stansted and Gerona Airports on seven occasions when flying by Ryanair. The action taken by staff was left as late as possible before boarding and the attitude of the person concerned was dismissive and unhelpful. I wrote to Ryanair at Dublin asking for this incident to be investigated. Customer Service Dept. was very dismissive in there reply and stated there was nothing they could do. I beg to differ, as they are holding £35 of my money which I want returned.

Oxford (London) ?
- Ryanair did not even attempt to answer the question that was actually asked. That was wise. This will not be the first time they have had to deal with such a question. It is sad that they exist, as their existence is hampering the development of a dignified, honourable alternative to EasyJet through customer optimism that they can't possibly be as bad as people who have travelled (or not travelled, even though having booked) with Ryanair assure them they are.

Misleading
- I've just booked to Girona by mistake. I don't think I'm stupid. It just seems like an easy mistake to make - couldn't they put a little warning up to help avoid the mistake? Luckily it's not a big deal for me, but for some people it might cause a major problem, and I don't think Ryanair would offer any sort of refund. While I'm here, I think it's really comical how Ryanair adds on an 'administration charge' just when you go to pay for the flight. It could have been part of a Monty Python or Little Britain sketch. Overall, let's have a bit more openness and helpfulness please Ryanair!

Typical Ryanair spin
- I like the stat that flights to Barcelona airport have fallen as passengers switch to Ryanair! The truth is that passenger numbers have fallen due to the popularity of the high speed train between Barcelona and Madrid.

Agreeing With Alex
- I run a popular website about the Girona airport (http://www.barcelonagirona.com) and of all the questions I get, not one has ever asked about this. It's common sense, and I think you're not giving travelers enough credit for figuring out what that means. If they didn't include Barcelona in brackets, people would be like, where the hell is Girona and why do I want to fly there?

Oh come on, be reasonable
- If Luton Stansted and gatwick count as London airports then why not Girona as a Barcelone airport? The journy to the centre of each cit from these airports is probably just as long, and the one from Girona to Barcelona probably far less stressfull. And to be honest it does say (Barcelona) in brackets. So anybody planning a holiday that just expects to be able to walk out of the airports and into their hotel is just being a bit naive. If the airport is clearly labelled as something other than just Barcelona, then for Pete's sake look it up.

100km?
- If Girona, 100km away, is Barcelona, does that mean that the beach in Southend, 43 miles from London, means Britain's capital is on the coast?

Ryanair? Ha! Never!!
- The arrogant, dictatorial responses to your questions clearly indicate that this airline is in fact operated by what can be easily defined as corporate, spinning scum. Based on your article, I would stay away from this airline like a disease, and would rather pay more for some peace of mind than having to check constantly all the areas where I may be scammed.
