Who flies to Valladolid?
Where is Valladolid? In the north-west of Spain, a couple of hours away from Madrid, between Salamanca and Leon.
Valladolid Airport TransferLinecar runs the bus service to Valladolid bus station. The bus service coincides with Ryanair arrivals (which is most flights to Valladolid) so you shouldn't have a problem getting a bus to the center. The journey takes 30 minutes and costs 3€. For getting to the airport from Valladolid bus station, departure times are not published on the internet, but in October 2006 the bus departed two-and-a-half hours before each Ryanair departure, which allows ample time to check in.
Auto Res also runs a bus service to and from Salamanca. This is an excellent service (I wish I'd known about it when I made the trip) - Salamanca is a much nicer city than Valladolid and you can get to Madrid easily from there.
ALSA have also increased their services from Valladolid airport. They now take you to León, Oviedo, Gijón, Avila and Madrid. Book at ALSA.

What to Do in Valladolid
Not a great deal, though the main square (Plaza Mayor), with its burgundy-colored walls, is a pleasant place to stop for a cup of coffee, while both Miguel de Cervantes (writer of Don Quijote) and Christopher Columbus lived in Valladolid and have museums dedicated to them.
