Where is Valencia?

One the east coast of Spain, about four hours south of Barcelona. Some of the best beaches in Spain can be found in the 100km or so to the south of Valencia.

What to Do in Valencia

Despite being Spain's third largest city, the old town area, where you are likely to spend most of your time, is relatively small and compact. Valencia is the home of paella - there are paella restaurants throughout the city and in the surrounding villages. On the last Wednesday of August is the Tomatina Tomato Fight. Getting to and from Valencia Airport

There regular buses every 30 minutes from Valencia airport to Valencia city center. It costs 1€ and takes 15 minutes. A taxi costs about 15€. It is likely to be cheaper to get the bus to the city and take a taxi from the bus station to your hotel.

How to Get from Valencia to Other Destinations in Spain

Valencia's main bus station is out of the city center and is likely to be a long walk or a taxi ride to your hotel. Valencia's train station, on the other hand, is ideally located right in the center of the city.
