Avinguda Tibidabo has a number of nightspots that are different to what you might find in the rest of Barcelona. Thanks to its open space and elevation above the city. Going out on Avinguda Tibidabo can be a breath of fresh air after doing most of your partying in the dark alleys of the city centre or traffic-filled Eixample.
While Tibidabo by day is all about the funfair, tourists enjoying the views of the city and cyclists and ramblers enjoying the nature, at night it's equally appealing for different reasons.
We'll begin at the bottom of Avinguide Tibidabo and work our way up. Danzatoria is one of the most spectacular nightclubs in Barcelona. It's housed in a luxurious mansion on the first curve of the avenue, at no. 61. Depending on the evening, Danzatoria fills its four rooms and gardens with anything from house music to chill-out and R n' B.
There are several other rather exclusive nightspots clustered around Danzatoria on Avinguda Tibidabo.
Further up on Plaça Doctor Andreu is Bar Mirablau, a perfect place to end the evening with a last drink. It's a very intimate, romantic spot, with huge windows giving incredible views over the sparkling lights of the city. It also has a dancefloor downstairs.
How to Get there: Take an FGC train from Plaça Catalunya to Avinguida del Tibidabo.
Getting to Barcelona: Barcelona is served by Barcelona El Prat Airport, and Renfe trains connect from all other major Spanish cities to Sants Estacio.
