Las Arenas is a shopping mall in Barcelona. Located in Plaça Espanya, opposite Fira Montjuic and the Palau Reial, it was once a bullfighting ring. Now Las Arenas is a modern, state-of-the-art complex boasting over 60 commercial outlets, including fashion stores, cafes, restaurants and bars. The complex is the modern incarnation of the historic Las Arenas bullfighting ring, many of whose original architectural details have been incorporated.

The mall, which has a beautiful neo-Mudejar facade dating back to 1900, has had a stupendous domed roof added to its emblematic striped Moorish arches. The remodelling of the long-abandoned bullring was completed in 2011 after many years of planning and construction.

Las Arenas now has six floors of shops, with convenient parking spread over four floors. Highlights are a twelve-screen cinema, Arenas Multicines, Barcelona Rock Museum and a rooftop cupola.

On weekends the rooftop terrace, which has spectacular panoramaic views of the city, is open til 1.30 am. The mall is open monday to saturday, from ten in the morning to ten in the evening, although the cafes and restaurants are open til midnight and in some cases, beyond.

Among the fashion stores on show are Mango, Punto Roma and Desigual, while there's a wide selection of tapas, sushi, wok and Italian eateries and several cosmetics stores.
