Morocco is famously hard work, with so many confidence tricksters and unsavory individuals trying to con you while you go about your sightseeing. If you don't feel like dealing with the scam artists of Morocco's marketplaces, you could take a guided tour. It's a comparatively sanitized experience, but the beautiful architecture, bustling markets and exquisite food are the same whether you are in a group or not.

Many websites offer day trips from Spain to Tangier. While the convenience of a single day trip may be appealing, don't: Tangier is horrible.

Multi-Day Excursions to Morocco from Spain

Instead, look for a tour that will take you to more cities over a number of days, like this one below, which covers Rabat, Meknes, Fez, Casablanca and Marrakesh in five days. It's a little rushed, but it is ideal if you are pressed for time.
