Madrid is the ideal place to start a tour, with its many museums and art galleries as well as the excellent towns and cities around Madrid. After Madrid you have the Roman ruins of Mérida, the great mosque of Córdoba, the bullfighting and flamenco of Seville and the spectacular bridges of Ronda.
