Temperatures jump up a notch in Madrid in March. It's still not too wet so this is is a good time to get clear, cool days to enjoy Madrid before it gets hot and wet.

Slowly heating up, Barcelona is emerging from its cold winter, but don't expect the best weather just yet. The later in the month you go the more likely it will be that you will get good weather. It stays reasonably dry in March but dull, cloudy days are quite common.

Weather in Andalusia in March

As Andalusia is Spain's warmest region, March should see some pleasant and warm days - but nothing is guaranteed. Expect mainly sunny, dry days, with the weather improving towards the end of the week.

The average maximum temperature in Malaga in March is 66°F/19°C and the average minimum temperature is 48°F/9°C.

Weather in Northern Spain in March

Spring time comes to the north later than in the south and you shouldn't expect miracles just yet. It rains regularly in the Basque Country in March and the weather is a bit warmer than in February, but not by much.

Weather in North-West Spain in March

The north-west of Spain doesn't get much luck with the weather. Expect conditions in March in Galicia and Asturias to much like it is in the rest of winter and spring - mild but wet. Very wet.
