Playa del Monsul is one of the most famous beaches on the Cabo de Gata, the south-east tip of Spain in the region of Almeria. The nearest airports are in Almeria, Murcia and Alicante.
Cabo de Gata is less touched by mainstream tourism so it is much quieter here than in other parts of Spain.
There isn't much public transport around here, so you should rent a car to get around.
