Breakfast in Spain is typically a small, hurried affair. A quick coffee, drunk at the bar, with a piece of toast or a croissant is likely all it will be, as the Spanish like to keep space for a large lunch instead.
Some of my favorite options for breakfast in Seville can be found below.

1. La Cacharreria
Down a narrow street behind the modern 'art' monstrosity in Plaza Encarnacion. They also do cheap cocktails in the evening, but they're not very good.
Breakfast Options Muffins, muesli, yoghurt and other un-Spanish choices.

2. Mercaderes
Cheap and with a handy menu for non-Spanish speakers to point at! Close to the cathedral.
Breakfast Options Toast with various toppings.

3. Casa Ruiz
Close to the cathedral, this traditional Spanish bar (with a nice little courtyard out back, a rarity in Seville) doesn't advertise its breakfast options, but ask and you will get. Cheap.
Breakfast Options As there is no menu, ask for 'tostada' (toast) with 'tomate' (tomato), 'queso' (cheese), 'jamon' (ham) or 'sobresada' (a kind of chorizo pate).

A traditional little place in the shopping district.Breakfast Options Various options, but the one they boast about most is their chocolate con churros.
