- Take a local buses from the bus station at Plaza de Armas. Journey takes about an hour.

- The remains of the Roman city of Itálica are in Sanctiponce, complete with Roman mosaics, amphitheatre and baths.
- Archeological remains from the Roman ruins can be found in the nearby museum.
- Note that both the ruins and the museum are closed on Mondays.
