Aragon is the region that separates the Basque Country from Catalonia. It is typically missed out by travelers hopping from one popular region to the other, but it has some sights of its own that are worth checking out.

Aragon in a Week
Aragon does not normally get tourists coming in droves - you can see all the sights easily in a week.
If it's winter time, you'll want to go skiing - so start in the mountains Pyrenees in the north before heading down to Zaragoza. You'll want a day to explore the sights there before taking a day trip to Sos del Rey Catolico and then heading south to Teruel, where you should spend two days. You can ski near Teruel too.

Aragon Highlights
- Skiing in the Pyrenees.
- The Catedral-Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar in Zaragoza. (There are two cathedrals in Zaragoza)
- The small fortress-town of Sos del Rey Catolico, where King Ferdinand II was born.
- The little-explored city of Teruel - the El Salvador tower, cathedral and aqueduct in particular. You can also Ski in Teruel.
