The Accent and Dialect You'll Hear in Granada:
The accent in Seville is not as easy to understand as that of Madrid, but it is clearer than the Sevillano accent. Much like in Seville, the inhabitants of Granada tend to drop the 's' in the middle or end of words. So "two o'clock", which would be 'a las dos' in the rest of Spain, becomes "a la' do'". They also speak very quickly. This makes it quite hard to follow even quite simple conversations in the street.
Lifestyle in Granada:
Granada is not a very big city. It caters very well to tourists, with lots of flamenco and free tapas (yes, free!), as well as the excellent Alhambra museum. But Granada is not the most exciting place to stay long term if you're used to big cities.
