In Granada they speak standard (Castillian) Spanish.
The Accent and Dialect You'll Hear in Granada:
The accent in Seville is not as easy to understand as that of Madrid, but it is clearer than the Sevillano accent. Much like in Seville, the inhabitants of Granada tend to drop the 's' in the middle or end of words. So "two o'clock", which would be 'a las dos' in the rest of Spain, becomes "a la' do'". They also speak very quickly. This makes it quite hard to follow even quite simple conversations in the street.
Lifestyle in Granada:
Granada is not a very big city. It caters very well to tourists, with lots of flamenco and free tapas (yes, free!), as well as the excellent Alhambra museum. But Granada is not the most exciting place to stay long term if you're used to big cities.
You can ski in the Sierra Nevada mountains near Granada in winter.
Climate in Granada:
In can get very hot in summer in Granada, though not as hot as Seville. In winter the cold air coming off the mountains can make the city pretty cold, especially at night.
