The hand baggage allowance on most flights in Europe is 55cm x 40cm x 20cm (21.6" x 15.7" x 7.8"). If you're flying with Ryanair, the amount you can carry on is limited to 10kg per person (thankfully, easyJet doesn't have a weight limit).
Many bags that are labeled as 'carry on' are in fact too big for Ryanair and easyJet. We're usually talking about no more than half an inch and you'll usually get away with it. However, for peace of mind, every case listed on this page does meet these requirements.
