When Is the Camino de Santiago in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013?

By Damian Corrigan, About.com

Question: When Is the Camino de Santiago in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013?
Answer: A common misconception about the Camino de Santiago is that there is a specific time of year when people do the 800km walk across northern Spain.

However, the Camino de Santiago is a personal journey - originally carried out as a religious pilgrimage but today usually conducted for more prosaic reasons. There is no 'time' to do the walk.

Having said that, weather and other conditions are factors that should be considered when deciding when to do the Camino de Santiago.
