3. Cordoba, Seville and Ronda Weekend Break

6. Seville Weekend Break
Though you could do Andalusia's three biggest cities in a single weekend break, you'd be better off spending a whole weekend sampling the country's best tapas, Seville's magnificent cathedral and the Alcazar fortress and gardens. You could afford an afternoon in Cordoba or Granada if you get itchy feet.

7. Catalonia Weekend Break
Barcelona is an obvious weekend break in Spain, but the wider region of Catalonia is also worth a visit too, particularly Girona and the Dali Museum in Figueres.

10. Granada Weekend Break
