The Basque Country, or Pais Vasco in Spanish, is Spain's most north-eastern region and includes such cities as Bilbao and San Sebastian.
Bilbao Day Trips
Bilbao is my favorite city in the Basque Country. With the Guggenheim, a nice old town and some great food, this is an ideal place to base yourself for exploring the region. It is better connected to the rest of the Basque Country than San Sebastian.
