Where is Tibidabo?

There are two mountains in Barcelona - as you stand at the bottom of the Ramblas (at the Columbus statue) looking up the Ramblas, to your left is Montjuic and directly in front of you is Tibidabo.

How to Get to Tibidabo

Take the U7 metro line from Placa Catalunya up to Av. Tibidabo. At the weekend an old tram runs from here up the hill; on other days there is a normal bus service instead. From here there is a Funicular to the church and theme park, though you can walk if you prefer.

What is on Tibidabo?

Tibidabo is Barcelona's highest point, so you can see the whole city from here. There is also an impressive modernist church, called Sagrat Cor (Sacred Heart), a planetarium and the oldest amusement park in Spain (complete with original rides).

See Things to Do on Tibidabo for more details.

Don't forget to also check out the CosmoCaixa, Europe's best science museum, at the foot of the Tibidabo mountain.
