The price of the Barcelona Card is lot more reasonable than the Madrid Card, but it has a lot less included for free. This means that you'll need to spend quite a bit to make the savings. However, with good discounts on Barcelona's most popular attractions, it isn't difficult to get the savings.
One of the big advantages of this card is that you get free public transport, including complete use of the Barcelona Metro. This discount includes the train from the airport to the center, so it is worth getting your card before you arrive in Barcelona.
