Barcelona Cinemas- Cine Verdi Barcelona

Cine Verdi is Barcelona's coolest cinema, located on two of Gràcia's coolest streets, Carrer Verdi and Carrer Torrijos. It showcases arthouse films by directors from all around the world as well as the latest Hollywood productions.

Ticket Prices: On a normal weekday it's 7.50€, but if you go on monday there's a special rate of 5.50€. On weekends, when it tends to get crowded, the charge is 8€.

Cine Verdi Films

Whether it's seasons by legendary directors, the latest Spanish arthouse efforts, world cinema or the big summer blockbuster you're after, Cine Verdi is the best bet for film freaks in Barcelona.

Within spitting distance of the cinema there are also a number of bars and restaurants, where movie fans collectafter the show to discuss what they've seen.

Original Language Films

All films are in their original language with Spanish subtitles. This is a rarity in Spain, where films are generally dubbed.

For a more mainstream selection of films in their native language you can also try the Cine Yelmo Icaria in Vila Olimpica.

Getting to Cine Verdi: Take the green line to Fontana Metro station. From here it's a five minute walk.

Getting To Barcelona: Barcelona is served by Barcelona El Prat Airport, and Renfe trains connect from all other major Spanish cities to Sants Estacio.
