Since their formation in 1994 by the remaining members of the alt-country group Uncle Tupelo, Wilco ( fronted by Jeff Tweedy), have earned two Grammy Awards, including one for Best Alternative Music Album. On their new album 'Sky Blue Sky', they firmly drop the 'alt' for the first time-it's full of simple, pretty songs.
