Naked bike riding protest through Spain this month

Saturday June 3, 2006
The Spanish love to protest. Each year, literally hundreds of protests take place somewhere in Madrid, usually passing through Sol. So it comes as no surprise that this month's World Naked Bike Ride grew out of a Spanish protest - the Manifestación Ciclonudista. This year, the Spanish leg of the anti-car protests centre on Madrid, Barcelona, Pamplona, Huesca and Zaragoza on June 10. See their website for details of how to get involved.

However, if the idea of perching naked on a saddle doesn't appeal and you like to keep your biking and your nudity separate, you could take a cycling tour or visit one of Spain's many Top 10 Nudist Beaches & Resorts in Spain. There are naturist beaches all over Spain, so getting naked is rarely a problem.

Who said Catholics were conservative!?
