If you're looking for a beach vacation in Spain, which part of the country should you head for?
The usual answer is to head straight for the Costa del Sol. The south coast of Spain has the best weather and the caters very well for foreign tourists. There are some excellent Guided Tours from the Costa del Sol as well as plenty of English breakfasts and Sky Sports so you don't need to miss the big match.
But maybe that's not what you're looking for. A trip to the beach in Spain doesn't have to be a carbon copy life in the UK. Avoiding the south coast can give you a more varied experience, with local culture and different landscapes rewarding the more intrepid sun-seekers.
