The Camino de Santiago isn't a camino at all - it's a set of caminos, starting from multiple points around Spain and beyond. And one of the least famous routes is the Via de la Plata, which begins in Seville.

I walked the Camino Frances version of the Camino de Santiago, the most famous and popular route, in 2009. Walking in March and April, as I did, avoids the crowds, which can get quite large in summer. So lots of people now prefer to do one of the lesser-known Caminos. But I've never met anyone who has walked the Via de la Plata. So I was interested to see an article on the Guardian website about this particular camino. It seems the writer is currently on the Camino, so there will be more articles from the road, as he approaches Salamanca and continues up to Santiago de Compostela. I'll link to them here when they are published.
