November is a very busy month in Spain. There are numerous jazz festivals in Spain, including in Madrid, Barcelona, Granada and Mallorca, as well as several film festivals.
Outside the arts, you have an 'orujo' (Spanish grappa) festival in the town of Potes, the noisy San Andres festival in Tenerife and the international horse fair in Seville. Read more about November in Spain here:
December is a lot quieter, and colder, as the country retracts in on itself for the very family-focussed Christmas period. Even the stroke of midnight for New Year is generally spent at home, though the bars fill up later in the night. Away from the Christmas celebrations, there are two gospel music festivals (one in Barcelona and one in Madrid) and a kind of flamenco festival in Malaga. See more here:
