Sponsor My Camino de Santiago and Save the Children

Friday March 20, 2009
Tomorrow (Saturday), I shall be beginning the Camino de Santiago, the 899km pilgrimage across northern Spain. I start in St Jean Pied de Port in France and will finish in Santiago de Compostela in 30 to 35 days time. If I still have any skin left on the soles of my feet, I shall then walk to Fisterra, the old end of the Roman empire and, according to the Romans, the end of the world itself.

One of my reasons for walking is to raise money for Save the Children, a charity that is close to my heart. I believe that making the world a better place must start with looking out for the children.

If you would like to donate (100% of your donation goes to charity), all you need is a PayPal account or a UK bank account. Donate to Save the Children.

You can follow my progress through my blog posts, which you can read right here, or see live updates from the road from my Twitter account (my account is @gospain.
