El Gordo won by ticket 06381

The draw for the biggest lottery in the world, El Gordo, has taken place. The jackpot was won by a number of people, each one of them taking home 300,000€ ($420,000).

If you missed out on tickets for this year, don't worry, a second (slightly smaller) draw, called 'El Niño', takes place on January 6 with a total prize fund of 770,000,000€ (over a billion US dollars).
