Planning a trip to Spain this Christmas?

Monday September 24, 2007
Yes, I know it's far too early to starting thinking about Christmas, but with just three months to go until the festival season, it's not too early to start planning your trip. Read all about Christmas in Spain.

Christmas is a popular time of year to travel around Spain and the Spanish take particular advantage of a week off between Christmas and New Year to visit family and friends. This means that hotels, especially the cheaper ones, can be booked out well in advance - so book now! A good alternative to organizing it all yourself is to take an organized Christmas tour of Spain, which takes all the hassle out of getting a place to stay and food to eat.

There's lots going on in Spain throughout December and into the new year. Christmas Eve is a major family event, as is New Year's Eve, but the partying on the morning of New Year's Day goes on until the sun comes up.

And if Christmas to you just has to be about snow, have no fear - Spain has that too! Spain has Europe's southern-most ski resort, in Granada. Read about skiing in Spain.
