Mp3 Tours of Barcelona

A couple of years ago I had a brainwave. As I took my mp3 player off to listen to a headset tour of a Spanish landmark, I realized that it would make a lot of sense to make mp3 tours that people could download and put on their mp3 player. I rushed to the internet to see if anyone else had already had the same idea - sadly, they had.

Everyone these days has an mp3 player, so it makes a lot of sense to be able to download tours to listen to while wandering around the streets of Barcelona. These tours have a lot of advantages over actual guided tours, the main two being that they are cheaper and that, with the very handy 'pause' button, you can take the tour at your own pace.

Tourcaster offer some excellent mp3 tours of Barcelona. Their tour of the central Barri Gotic (Gothic Quarter) is the perfect introduction to the city. It is cheaper than one of the official Walking Tours of Barcelona and gives you the advantage of being able to listen to over a number of days if you'd prefer.
