Segovia - Aqueducts and Fairytale Castles

Saturday September 23, 2006
Yesterday I went to Segovia, approximately half way between Madrid and Salamanca. Segovia is home to two of Spain's most iconic landmarks - its aqueduct and its Alcazar. The former is 2,000 years old and was built by the Romans, the latter is said to have inspired the castle in Disney's Sleeping Beauty. See pictures of my day out in these Pictures of Segovia.
