EasyJet to Make Madrid Their New European Hub
EasyJet have announced that they are to make Madrid their new European hub, dramatically increasing the number of destinations that the budget airline flies to from the Spanish capital.
At present, EasyJet flights from Madrid only serve the UK, Geneva, Paris, Milan, Basel and Berlin. However, following the expansion it is likely that flights from Madrid will include many more destinations in Italy, Germany and France, as well as including places such as Prague, Athens and Istanbul (although none of the actual routes have yet been announced).
With budget air travel in Europe considerably cheaper than long-distance trains and buses, the new routes from Madrid will make life for those on pan-Europe vacations much easier. Read more on Budget Flights to Spain.
